Present Job Function: Foster is President and Chief Executive Officer of The Risk Management Association. In this capacity, she is responsible for developing and implementing the strategic direction as well as providing oversight for overall operations of the association. RMA serves approximately 2,200 financial institutions and 18,000 professionals with 110 chapters worldwide.

Previous Employment: Prior to joining RMA, Foster was Executive Vice President with Park Sterling Bank (2010-2017) where she was responsible for management of the bank’s credit, marketing, retail, mortgage, and wealth management lines of business.
Foster was previously Chief Risk Officer of CIT Group, Inc., where she was responsible for global enterprise-wide risk management. Prior to joining CIT, Foster was Group Senior Vice President at LaSalle Bank Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of ABN AMRO, NV. 
 
Board Member: Foster is a member of the Pacific Coast Banking School Board of Directors.
 
Education: Foster has an MBA in finance and strategy from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business and a BS in finance and economics from Illinois State University.
