Significant work remains for firms to prepare for the cessation of USD LIBOR and other ‘IBORs’ by the end of 2021. This session will provide participants with essential information to assist them in understanding the current state of transition and insights as to how market participants are managing remaining implementation challenges.
  • Learn about market developments across derivative, FRN, and loan products as well as regulatory expectations for transition informing market structure, Alternate Reference Rate (ARR) product design, and assumptions on cessation timing
  • Discuss the Alternate Reference Rate Committee (ARRC) recommended best practices for completing the transition from LIBOR and evolving product conventions for ARR derivative, consumer and commercial products
  • Discuss how firms are tackling the challenges of migrating legacy transactions from LIBOR to ARRs including customer outreach, and strategies for fallback language and base rate remediation and related re-papering activities
  • Gain insights as to how firms are implementing new technology infrastructure and operational processes to support cross-functional capabilities to support ARRs and transition
  • Discuss financial and non-financial risks firms are identifying, assessing and managing as part of the remaining transition
